The VON Supportive Care & Bereavement Services are dedicated to providing compassionate care and improving the quality of life for individuals (including caregivers) living with a life threatening or life altering, chronic, terminal illness, in the Middlesex County. Our services can be provided at home, in a hospital or long-term care setting, and in the community.

Individuals who are living with a life threatening or life altering, chronic, terminal illness. Also provide support services to caregivers and bereaved clients.

VON's trained and dedicated volunteers provide social companionship and respite services through our Hospice Visiting Program, Caregiver Support Program, Bereavement Support Services, as well as our social recreation programs.
The Supportive Care Coordinator will meet with individuals in person to complete an assessment to determine what programs and/or services would help support their social, emotional, and/or spiritual needs. Ongoing support is provided through each client's journey, as well as that of the caregiver(s).
