In November 2017 Margaret Bahen Hospice for York Region, opened in Newmarket Ontario, offering 10 bed residential hospice care. In January 2018 Doane House Hospice a community hospice that had been supporting individuals and their families for 30 years merged with Better Living Health and Community Services who are the operators of the Margaret Bahen Hospice. Thus, being able to offer the full continuum of care to the communities of York Region.
