Established in 1986, Burnaby Hospice Society is a volunteer-based organization dedicated to providing compassionate care to individuals and families during the end-of-life journey and to educating the community about dying and bereavement.
Visiting in-home volunteers are available for patients and their family at home or in retirement residences and long-term care facilities.
Visiting volunteers are available mornings, afternoons and evenings at the Palliative Care Unit in Burnaby Hospital and at St. Michael’s Hospice Centre.
